Is a physician's order always needed for Remote Monitoring?
A physician's order is required for all homecare services. A
request for a Remote Monitoring evaluation can be noted on that order.
How often is the patient data reviewed?
Patient data is reviewed seven days a week between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
What if the patient has an incident over the weekend?
The Remote Monitoring Nurses are available 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
What symptoms are monitored?
Remote Monitoring typically monitors symptoms of the disease, blood pressure, weight and oxygen levels. Remote Monitoring equipment can be interactive (video) or non-interactive.
